Changed phone numbers Several of systems discussed in the BBS Sampler and EchoMac network sections of the Guide have moved, and therefore now sport new phone numbers. These include: • Shockwave Rider, now located in New Jersey, and reachable at (908)294-0659.i.BBS: Shockwave Rider;.i.ShockWave Rider BBS; • BCS Mac BBS, .i.BBS: BCS Mac;.i.BCS Mac BBS;now reachable at (617)864-0712 or (617)864-2519. • MacCircles .i.BBS: MacCircles;.i.MacCircles;(now in Denver), and reachable at (303)526-2219. • MacDaze has moved to Santa Barbara. In other news: • Twilight Clone .i.BBS: Twilight Clone;.i.Twilight Clone;has converted to TBBS, and so now looks completely different, although carrying many of the same files and message areas. • Scorpion BBS, run by Chriss Koch, shut down as of July 1, 1992. • Ralph Merritt, node 1:2605/611, resigned as an MSDN coordinator, due to cost and time constraints. • The Bay Area now offers several FirstClass systems, including OneNet, reachable at (415)948-1349, and Harry’s BBS at (415)824-7809. • Berkeley now has a USENET BBS called Terrapin Transit, accessible by calling sz(510)486-1422.
